Yes, Oklahoma is flat.
A windmill farm! This is part of the Eastern Plains Experimental Range.
Kinda rolls of your tongue...
The cow thingys just looked at me.
The small town of Buffalo, Oklahoma. What a great name. Much
better than say - Buffalo, New York?
We're back in Kansas Toto!
Kansas is flat too!
A domestic herd of buffalo at the Big Basin Reserve.
Yep, Kansas is pretty flat too.
This is a couple of mud ball splattered signs in front of the world's
largest feed lot - a another name for a slaughter house holding pen.
The North end. The wind was blowing the wrong direction. Memories
of the old farm in Minnesota flooded my nostrils.
The South End. This is the business end of the yard. The building
is where they process the meat. I saw two other feed yards in Dodge
City, there might be more.
The pens in the middle were empty and being cleaned out. Business
must be down.
Next to the mud splattered signs were a pair of figures made from
horse shoes.
Cowboys in Dodge City, KS.
Leaving Dodge City, still flat.
